The CMS module Download Gallery 2 is an enhancement of the module Download Gallery.
You can
- sort the list by columns
- include external links as well
The module works best with Lepton 1.1 and with WB 2.8.
What follows is an sample section of the module with the download of itself.
Since version 2.40 there is an option in the Backend which tells the CMS how to deliver the selected file:
The browser might show the file (of course it needs to be able to display files of the selected type), or the browser might show the "Save As" dialogue. On most browsers this dialogue asks whether it should display or save the file, and users have the chance to check an option to always repeat the choosen action for this file type. For this reason it might be possible that some user does not get the "Save As" dialogue, he would need to reconfigure his browser settings in this case.
